The Army has suspended pilots who performed a flyby near Kid Rock’s home, pending an investigation.

The Army has suspended the pilots involved in a flyby of two Apache helicopters near Kid Rock’s home in Nashville, Tennessee. This decision comes as the Army starts a formal investigation into the incident.

The four crew members have been grounded while the Army looks into the details of the mission. They will check if the pilots followed FAA regulations and safety protocols. Each helicopter has a pilot and a copilot/gunner.

Over the weekend, Kid Rock shared videos on social media showing him saluting the helicopters as they flew low near his swimming pool. The helicopters belong to the 101st Airborne Division, based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, about 60 miles from Nashville. They were also seen flying over a protest in Nashville on the same day. However, the 101st stated that the helicopters were on a training mission and the timing was just a coincidence.

Kid Rock, a well-known supporter of former President Donald Trump, commented on the situation, saying, “I think it will be alright — my buddy’s the commander in chief.”

The Army is conducting an administrative review to gather facts and determine if a formal investigation is needed. A spokesperson emphasized that Army aviators must follow strict safety standards and regulations. If any violations are found, appropriate action will be taken. Stay tuned for updates on this story!
