The Temper Trap is back with exciting news! The band has announced their first new album in a decade, titled *Sungazer*. This long-awaited fourth studio album will be released on July 10, following their 2016 album, *Thick as Thieves*.
In a statement, the band shared their enthusiasm about the new music. They said, “With time apart and much personal growth from us all, *Sungazer* feels like it’s captured the most pure collection of music we’ve ever made.” They also mentioned that they had more fun creating this album than any of their previous ones. “We’re in a great place creatively and in our friendships, we’re closer than ever,” they added. Being back in the studio felt like coming home.
*Sungazer* features the single “Giving Up Air,” which is currently climbing the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. Fans can also enjoy the already released tracks “Into the Wild” and “Lucky Dimes.” The title track is available now as well.
