Shinedown is getting fans excited with a sneak peek of a new song from their upcoming album, EI8HT. In a recent Facebook video, lead singer Brent Smith can be seen singing along to a track that features the line, “Where is the outlaw in you?” This hints at a song titled “Outlaw,” which is part of the EI8HT track list. The video also mentions that the new song will be released on Friday, April 3.
EI8HT is the follow-up to their 2022 album, Planet Zero, and is set to drop on May 29. The album will include several singles, such as “Dance, Kid, Dance,” “Three Six Five,” “Searchlight,” “Killing Fields,” and “Safe and Sound.”
In addition to the new music, Shinedown will kick off a U.S. tour in May, giving fans a chance to see them live. Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches!
