Noel Gallagher’s iconic guitar from Oasis’ classic album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, is set to be auctioned off. The acoustic Epiphone EJ-200, which Gallagher used while writing songs for the 1995 album, will be available through Sotheby’s. This guitar is not just any instrument; it’s signed by Gallagher and comes with a letter of authenticity. The letter confirms that the guitar appeared in the promotional video for the hit song “Wonderwall.”
Sotheby’s estimates that the guitar will sell for between $60,000 and $80,000. (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? was a game-changer for Oasis, helping to bring Britpop to a global audience with hits like “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova,” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
Fans recently got to hear these classics live during Oasis’ 2025 reunion tour. This tour marked their first live shows in 16 years and brought an end to the long-standing feud between Noel and his brother, Liam Gallagher. If you’re a fan of Oasis or just love music history, this auction is definitely one to watch!
