The stars of Lee Cronin’s The Mummy are reuniting, one week ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, and the rest of the cast gathered for a special screening of the movie on Thursday (April 9) at Hollywood Post 43 – American Legion in Los Angeles.
They were joined by co-stars May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, Veronica Falcon, May Elghety, Shylo Molina, Billie Roy, Hayat Kamille, and more.
Writer and director Lee Cronin was there, as were producers James Wan and Jason Blum.
Here is the film’s synopsis: “The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace— eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.”
Cronin previously told THR, “This will be unlike any Mummy movie you ever laid eyeballs on before. I’m digging deep into the earth to raise something very ancient and very frightening.”
Watch the trailer now ahead of the film’s theatrical release on April 17.
While this is the latest addition to The Mummy franchise, the series with Brendan Fraser is completely separate and there’s another movie in the works with that team!
