SOMBR has just announced a major fall North American arena tour following their recent performance at Coachella, where they performed a duet of the Smashing Pumpkins’ hit “1979” with Billy Corgan. The “You Are The Reason” tour will kick off on July 22 at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City and will include 37 dates across the continent. After a show at Red Rocks on July 26, the tour will hit venues like the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and Chicago’s United Center, wrapping up on November 23 at Madison Square Garden.
Supporting acts on select dates include Interpol, The Last Dinner Party, Tom Odell, Dove Cameron, Balu Brigada, King Princess, The Hellp, and Hannah Jadagu. Fans can access artist pre-sale tickets starting Tuesday, April 14 at 10 AM local time, with general sales beginning Friday, April 17 at 10 AM local time. For more details, visit SOMBR’s official website.
This tour marks a significant step up for SOMBR, who previously played mostly in large theaters. Their last tour included a sold-out show at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, which drew 8,602 fans and grossed $453,503, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
