Dine Out, Give Back: Dining Out for Life Celebrates 36 Years in Philadelphia

Philadelphia’s favorite food fundraiser is back! Action Wellness is excited to announce Dining Out for Life® on Thursday, April 23, 2026. This event will feature over 40 of the best restaurants and chefs in the area for one night of dining with a purpose. Now in its 36th year, Dining Out for Life is the longest-running restaurant fundraiser in Philadelphia, showing that enjoying a great meal can also make a difference.

On April 23, participating restaurants will donate a portion of their sales to Action Wellness, which supports individuals and families living with or at high risk of HIV in the region. “Dining Out for Life is a Philadelphia tradition that brings together our top restaurants and chefs for one amazing night,” said Mary Evelyn Torres, Executive Director of Action Wellness. “By dining out, Philadelphians can help us provide essential services while enjoying a delicious meal.”

This year’s lineup includes popular spots like Parc, Morimoto, Buddakan, and Talula’s Garden, along with new additions like Borromini and Rittenhouse Grill. Hours vary by restaurant, so reservations are highly recommended.

Since it started, Dining Out for Life has raised over $5 million for Action Wellness, helping more than 1,500 clients each year. With 18,000 people living with HIV in Philadelphia, the need for support is still strong.

Even if you can’t dine out on April 23, you can still help by donating, becoming a community champion, or volunteering. So mark your calendars and get ready to eat well, show up, and give back!
