Bowling for Soup has just released a cover of Sum 41’s hit song “In Too Deep.” Frontman Jaret Reddick shared that he first met the members of Sum 41 back in 2000 when their bands toured together with Catch 22. He recalls bonding over metal music and enjoying some wild times, including listening to a funny cassette they found at a truck stop. Reddick noted that you could tell Sum 41 was destined for greatness.

Earlier this year, Bowling for Soup also released a cover of Simple Plan’s “I’m Just a Kid.” They are set to hit the road with Simple Plan for a tour starting in July. Meanwhile, Sum 41 disbanded in 2025 after wrapping up their farewell tour.
