The sons of late Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell are honoring their father with two memorial concerts. Phil Campbell, who played with his sons Todd, Dane, and Tyla under the name Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons, shared the news on social media.
In their post, they addressed fans’ questions about the band’s future after their father’s passing. “While everything is still extremely raw for us right now, we’re pleased to confirm that we will be going ahead with two very special shows,” they wrote.
The concerts will take place on August 22 at Chepstow Castle in Chepstow, Wales, and on September 5 at the Hella Rock Festival in Coventry, England. “These shows will be dedicated as memorial concerts to celebrate the life of our dad, and it would mean a lot to us to see as many of you there as possible,” they added.
Phil Campbell passed away on March 13 at the age of 64. The band also mentioned that more shows will be announced soon.
