A lost album from the iconic band The Cramps is set to be released. Titled “Gravest Gravy,” this album will drop on August 21. It was recorded back in 1977 and produced by Alex Chilton from Big Star. Fans can now listen to the track “TV Eye.”
Henry Rollins, one of the project leaders, praised the album, saying it captures the brilliance of a band deeply connected to rock ‘n roll. The Cramps are known for creating the psychobilly sound, blending punk rock and rockabilly. They also gained fame for their song “Goo Goo Muck,” which featured in the popular show Wednesday. In addition to “Gravest Gravy,” several other Cramps titles will be reissued.
