Metallica breaks attendance record in Berlin

Metallica set a new attendance record in Berlin, Germany, over the weekend. The band announced on Instagram that their concert at Olympiastadion attracted over 94,000 fans, making it the largest show ever at the venue. They celebrated the moment, saying, “Night after night, city after city, the #MetallicaFamily is bringing it!”

This record-breaking performance surpassed the previous mark held by U2, who drew around 90,000 people during their 2009 360° Tour. Metallica is currently on the M72 world tour, with their next concert scheduled for June 3 in Bologna, Italy. The tour will conclude with a special no-repeat weekend on July 3 and 5 in London. After that, the band will head back to the U.S. to start their residency at the Las Vegas Sphere on October 1. For a full list of tour dates, fans can check out Metallica.com.
