Little image is back with a new album titled KILL THE GHOST, following their breakout single “OUT OF MY MIND” in 2023. Lead singer Simmons shared that the success of their previous hit influenced their creative process. “When something like that happens, it’s hard not to be affected,” he said. “But we focused on what’s next, and it feels fresh.”
The title KILL THE GHOST shows that little image wants to move forward. In the title track, Simmons sings, “Never gonna change if I don’t/ Cut the cord and let it go.” He explained that this theme reflects their approach to making the album. “We wanted to get out of our own way and focus on the music and our message.”
The album cover features a rabbit, symbolizing the innocence of youth. Simmons believes the rabbit represents the magic they aim to capture as artists. “It felt like a centerpiece to the world we created on the album,” he said.
KILL THE GHOST is available now. Little image will kick off their U.S. tour in support of the album this Friday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
