Tim Montana is set to release his new album, *Entire State of Tim Montana*, on July 31. The album features 16 tracks and includes guest appearances from Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, Slash from Guns N’ Roses, and Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top. It was named by actor Charlie Sheen and also features cameos from Charlie, his father Martin Sheen, and Robert Patrick from *Terminator 2*.
Montana describes the album as a mix of his influences and personal experiences. He says, “This record is a collision of my heroes and my scars, the loudest moments I’ve ever lived and the quiet truths I couldn’t outrun.” He promises that while the album has serious moments, it also includes fun tracks. “It’s not over-polished, it’s not safe, but it’s exactly who I am,” he adds.
The first single, “Break Me Down,” was released in April, and now Montana has shared a second track called “Brown Sugar,” featuring Slash and Gibbons. He reflects on the experience, saying, “Recording ‘Brown Sugar’ with Billy F Gibbons and Slash was a full-circle moment for me.” He recalls how discovering a Guns N’ Roses tape sparked his love for music and how ZZ Top became a favorite. “To have these childhood heroes with me is beyond a dream,” he shares.
