Bear McCreary has released a new track called “Cool Kids” from his upcoming album, The Singularity: Ekleipsis. This song features Slash and Duff McKagan from Guns N’ Roses, along with Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Previously, McCreary shared the track “Black Box,” which included Gojira’s Joe Duplantier.
“Cool Kids” is now available on digital platforms. The Singularity: Ekleipsis is set to drop on July 31 and follows McCreary’s 2024 album, The Singularity, which featured collaborations with Slash, Corey Taylor from Slipknot, and Serj Tankian from System of a Down.
The new album will also include guest appearances from Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria, Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy, and Stewart Copeland, the drummer for The Police. McCreary is well-known for his work on popular projects like Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, and The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power, as well as the God of War video games.
