A new live recording of Paul Di’Anno, the former singer of Iron Maiden, has just been released. He performs the classic song “Prowler” on the upcoming live album titled Di’Anno: Iron Maiden’s Lost Singer. This album was recorded in 2022 in Croatia and will be available on June 26. It coincides with the release of a documentary of the same name, which is now out on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital platforms.
“Prowler” was first featured on Iron Maiden’s self-titled debut album in 1980. Di’Anno sang on that album and its follow-up, Killers, in 1981 before leaving the band. He was succeeded by Bruce Dickinson, who is the current lead singer. Sadly, Di’Anno passed away in 2024 at the age of 66. He will be honored posthumously with an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside Iron Maiden as part of the 2026 class.
