My Chemical Romance is set to release a cover of the Pulp song “Common People” as part of the upcoming reissue of their 2010 album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. This cover, which the band recorded for BBC Radio 1 back in 2010, is now available for streaming for the first time. Fans can also check out the music video on YouTube.
The reissue of Danger Days will be available on July 10 and features remastered audio of the original album along with nine bonus tracks. This album was the fourth studio release from My Chemical Romance and followed their 2006 hit, The Black Parade. It remains their most recent album, as the band broke up in 2013 but reunited in 2019. They released a new song, “The Foundations of Decay,” in 2022.
In addition to the reissue, My Chemical Romance will kick off a U.S. stadium tour in August to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Black Parade. Fans can look forward to an exciting summer filled with music and nostalgia!
