Beartooth has just released a new song called “Bulls*,” which is part of their upcoming album, Pure Ecstasy. Frontman Caleb Shomo expresses his frustration in the chorus, singing, “I’m sick of myself/ I’m sick of this bulls*.”
Recently, Shomo faced some issues with the lyric video for the song. After sharing a teaser, the video was flagged for allegedly using AI. In a Facebook post, Shomo explained that the artist they hired claimed no AI was involved in creating the video. However, after further investigation, they discovered that this was not true. Shomo emphasized that they want to avoid using AI and want to honor the hard work that went into the album.
To resolve the situation, Shomo’s brother, Luke, created a new lyric video from scratch, which fans can now watch on YouTube. Pure Ecstasy, the follow-up to 2023’s The Surface, is set to be released on August 28. The album will also feature the previously released single “Free” and the title track. Beartooth is gearing up for a U.S. headlining tour in November, so fans can look forward to seeing them live soon!
