Glenn Danzig is stepping back into directing. The frontman of Misfits and the singer of “Mother” will direct a film based on his comic book series, Hellmask. Producer James Cullen Bressack shared the news on Instagram, saying he’s excited to work with Danzig again to bring Hellmask to life. He described the film as a medieval adventure filled with dark magic and armored warriors, promising all the wildness fans expect from Danzig.
This isn’t Danzig’s first time in the director’s chair. He previously directed Verotika and Death Rider in the House of Vampires. Fans can also look forward to seeing Danzig live on his U.S. tour, which starts in September.
