Wes Borland states that Limp Bizkit plans to ‘begin creating a fresh album,’ according to his words.

Limp Bizkit is looking to start working on a new record, according to guitarist Wes Borland. The band has been through a tough time after a recent loss, which Borland says has affected them. “We had a death in the band, and that sort of has rocked us a little bit,” he shared. They are currently in the process of healing and moving forward.

Despite the challenges, Limp Bizkit plans to hit the studio this year. They will work on new music in between their upcoming live shows, which include headlining performances at festivals like Rock Fest, Inkcarceration, Louder than Life, and Aftershock. “We are looking to book studio time whenever we can,” Borland said.

Since returning to the stage after the passing of their band member, Limp Bizkit has been touring with new bassist Richie Buxton, who also plays with Ecca Vandal. “We’re very stoked with our new bass player,” Borland added. “Hopefully we can keep him for as long as we can.” In addition to band activities, Borland has recently collaborated with Jackson to launch a new signature guitar.
