Dexter Holland of The Offspring sings on a new song by Billy Morrison called “Never Gonna Change.” Morrison is best known as Billy Idol’s guitarist. Holland says he jumped at the chance to join the track. He calls it the right mix of angst, rebellion and fun — a summer banger.
An animated lyric video for “Never Gonna Change” is now on YouTube. The song is on Morrison’s solo album Hollow, due Aug. 7. The album also includes the single “Becoming,” which features Sully Erna and Nuno Bettencourt. Other guests on Hollow include Marilyn Manson, Duff McKagan, Steve Stevens, Chuck D, B-Real and DMC.
