Geddy Lee of Rush expresses relief, stating he is feeling much better following his diagnosis of laryngitis and bronchitis.

Rush’s Geddy Lee says he’s feeling much better after a bout of laryngitis and bronchitis that forced the band to postpone two shows on their Fifty Something tour.

Lee posted a photo with his dog on Instagram and thanked fans for their well wishes. He said he’s “hard at work with Dottie in the studio hitting all the high notes” and is ready to return to the stage in Texas on Saturday, July 11 and Monday, July 13.

The band plays Dickies Arena in Fort Worth this weekend. After those shows, the tour moves to Chicago for four nights starting July 16.

Rush launched the Fifty Something tour on June 7 in Los Angeles. It’s their first tour in over 10 years and their first since the 2020 death of drummer Neil Peart. For full dates, visit Rush.com.
