The Pretty Reckless kicks off a U.S. tour Friday in Raleigh, North Carolina. The tour supports their new album, Dear God. Frontwoman Taylor Momsen says the band feels energized. “There’s a freshness to our energy and to our attitude,” she says. “It’s just gonna make for a really heightened, incredible, super fun show.”
The run mixes headlining dates with shows opening for AC/DC. The band toured with AC/DC in 2024 and 2025. They haven’t headlined a full U.S. tour since 2022. Momsen calls headlining her favorite thing. She says it’s great to be in control of the venue and the stage.
Tour life hasn’t been all smooth. Momsen was bitten by a bat and a spider on past legs of the AC/DC tour. She jokes that “things come in threes” and hopes an ankle injury was the last incident. “I’m hoping the spider was the end of it,” she adds. “That was so much worse than the bat.”
Dear God is out now. The album includes the singles “For I Am Death” and “When I Wake Up.
