Jack White has invited Twin Temple to open for him after they were dropped from Charley Crockett’s tour. Twin Temple calls their music “satanic doo-wop.” They said Crockett removed them because of their satanic imagery. They apologized to fans and thanked them for supporting artistic freedom. They ended their message with “HAIL SATAN!”
Crockett told Rolling Stone he expected something like Black Sabbath and said, “Not today, Satan.” Jack White doesn’t seem bothered by the imagery. He once released music titled Get Behind Me Satan. On Instagram he asked Twin Temple to open his Sept. 29 show in Los Angeles. Twin Temple replied they were honored and called it “a most infernal pleasure.”
Jack White also released a new solo album, Frozen Charlotte, on Friday. He starts his U.S. tour Friday night in Washington, D.C.
