Two late ’90s/early 2000s rock bands have new music. The Calling and Fuel each released a new single.
The Calling’s new song is called “Dust.” It will be on their third studio album, Before the World Turns to Dust. It’s their first album in 22 years and is due out this fall. Singer Alex Band says he started writing “Dust” as a love song set in an apocalyptic world, and the song grew deeper from there. The “Dust” video is on YouTube.
Fuel’s new single is “Want It.” It’s the lead track from their album Pendulum, out Oct. 30. A lyric video for “Want It” is on YouTube now. Pendulum is Fuel’s first record with new singer Aaron Scott. Their last album, 2021’s Ånomåly, featured John Corsale on vocals.
