​At a concert in New York City, Jack White was accompanied by his daughter, who played bass.  

Jack White made his NYC show a family affair Saturday when his daughter Scarlett joined him on bass. She played on White Stripes songs “Cannon” and “Black Math.” Footage of the “Cannon” performance is on White’s Instagram.

The concert was the first of two shows at the Brooklyn Paramount, with the second on Sunday. White’s tour picks up Tuesday in Toronto. He’s touring behind his new solo album, Frozen Charlotte, which was released Friday.

Meanwhile, Eden Gallup has been filling in on bass for The Cure while his father, Simon Gallup, recovers from an illness. The band posted a message asking fans to wish Simon a speedy recovery and thanking Eden. The Cure’s European tour continues Wednesday in Athens.
