Cold War Kids have released a new song called “Loyalty.” The band first played the track on their 2005 U.S. tour, around the time of their 2006 debut, Robbers & Cowards. Frontman Nathan Willett says the song feels both bluesy and punky, and that recording it this year made him wonder why it wasn’t on the first album.
“Loyalty” will appear on a 20th-anniversary deluxe reissue of Robbers & Cowards, coming later in 2026. Cold War Kids are currently touring with Young the Giant.
