Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has a new limited-edition signature guitar with Epiphone. The Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior comes in a Radiant Red finish. It aims to capture his raw energy, tone, and rebellious spirit.
The guitar sticks to a simple punk-rock setup: one pickup and two knobs. Epiphone says it’s built for players who want to plug in, turn up, and play.
The Les Paul Junior is priced at $649. You can buy it now at Epiphone.com and at the Gibson Garage stores in Nashville and London.
Armstrong and the band also have a new movie, NIMRODS, due in theaters Aug. 14. The film follows three friends who hit the road thinking they’re opening for Green Day on New Year’s Eve.
