Five Finger Death Punch has released their 10th studio album, Legacy. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory says this record best represents the band. “If you ask me… give me one album that represents Five Finger Death Punch the best, I would give you this one,” he says.
The album reflects the band’s 20-year, 10-album journey. The lyrics look back on their career and experiences. Lead single “Eye of the Storm” became their 18th No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Bathory calls the song a perfect way to describe how it feels to be in the band.
Legacy closes with “Scapegoat,” which ends with frontman Ivan Moody plainly saying, “F* you.” Bathory says that moment makes it clear the band isn’t stopping. “If you were hoping that it’s over, it isn’t,” he laughs.
Five Finger Death Punch are touring the U.S. in support of Legacy through October. Fans can expect the new songs live, plus the band’s classic hits.
