Twelve-year-old Sam Okyere from the Philadelphia area loves music. He also lives with sickle cell disease. When Make-A-Wish offered him a wish, Sam surprised everyone.
Instead of asking for a meet-and-greet or tickets just for himself, Sam asked for a concert ticket drive. He wanted other kids with serious illnesses to get to see live music. Sam’s wish turned into a campaign that gave away hundreds of tickets to local shows.
