Death Cab for Cutie stopped by NPR’s Tiny Desk for a stripped-down set. Ben Gibbard and the band opened with two songs from their new album I Built You a Tower: “Pep Talk” and “Stone Over Water.” They followed with “Title and Registration” from 2003’s Transatlanticism and closed with “Soul Meets Body” from 2005’s Plans. The band just finished a U.S. tour supporting I Built You a Tower, ending the run at Outside Lands in San Francisco. They’ll headline Bumbershoot in Seattle in September and then open for Twenty One Pilots at Ohio Stadium in October.
