311’s “Summer Tour 2019” featuring 311, The Interrupters and Dirty Heads made it’s stop at The Met in Philadelphia, PA on July 19, 2019.
311‘s hybrid mix of rock, rap and reggae proved they are still one of the most entertaining and dynamic bands even after 29 years of putting out new music and touring. They hit the road every summer playing songs that encompass the band’s thirteen-album catalog. Their long set-list included hits from the 90’s and 2000’s like “Amber”, “All Mixed Up”, “Come Original” “Stealing Happy Hours”, and “Creatures For Awhile” as well as new songs like “Good Feeling” and “Don’t You Worry”, from their latest album “Voyager” which dropped on July 12, 2019, provide just a taste of what fans received on a hot summer night in which one of the best tours of this summer made its way through Philly.
The bands new album VOYAGER, entered Billboard’s Top Independent Albums Chart at No. 1. The album also rocketed to No. 2 on Billboard’s Alternative Album, Top Album Sales and Top Rock Albums charts. Voyager is 311’s 13th studio album – click HERE to listen. It features 13 new songs – four of which were recorded with Grammy-nominated producer John Feldmann (Blink-182, Panic! At the Disco) and nine of which were recorded with Scotch Ralston, who produced 311 albums Transistor, Soundsystem and Stereolithic. The album was mixed by Grammy winner Neal Avron (Weezer, Twenty One Pilots, Linkin Park).

311 was formed in 1990 in Omaha, Nebraska, by singer/guitarist Nick Hexum, singer S.A. Martinez, guitarist Tim Mahoney, drummer Chad Sexton and bassist P-Nut. The quintet, who now reside in Southern California, mix rock, rap, reggae and funk into their own unique hybrid sound and have developed a reputation as one of the world’s most entertaining & dynamic live bands. 2019 will mark 20 consecutive summers that 311 have toured the States on a headline run. 311’s celebratory live shows & nonstop touring schedule have earned them a massive grassroots following.
