Bring Me the Horizon frontman Oli Sykes and Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante have teamed up for a new song called “If the Sun Burns Out Tonight.” The track was recorded with producer and EDM artist Grabbitz. It will be the official anthem for the 2026 Valorant Champions Tour esports tournament.
Sykes says he likes projects that mix storytelling and music, and called working with Riot Games, Grabbitz and LaPlante a natural fit. LaPlante says she’s excited to finally release a song they made together. She noted she has performed live with BMTH before and praised Grabbitz for creating a sound that fits all three voices.
“If the Sun Burns Out Tonight” will premiere this fall. A preview is already up on the Valorant YouTube channel.
Both artists have worked with games before. Bring Me the Horizon made “Ludens” for the 2019 game Death Stranding. LaPlante released the theme for the game 2XKO in 2025.
