Queens of the Stone Age and Courtney Love shared album news over the weekend.
Queens of the Stone Age say their next album is titled Perfecth. In a short Facebook skit, frontman Josh Homme first announces a Sept. 30 release. The clip then turns chaotic — Homme pretends to stab his band, blood sprays, and the Sept. 30 date is crossed out. A voiceover ends the clip saying the album is “coming soon sometime.”
Courtney Love said her long-awaited solo album is finished. In an Instagram video she called it “a really good record” and said she put a lot into it. Love also said she got very sick during a 2019 trip to England and spent time in hospitals. She says she’s healthy now. In the post caption she added that she made the record thinking it might be her last, and thanked Billie Joe Armstrong, Michael Stipe and Melissa Auf der Maur for their support.
