The co-stars praised their mutual bond and work on the set of Ridley Scott’s upcoming film.
Jacob Elordi and Josh Brolin star in director Ridley Scott’s upcoming movie adaptation of Peter Heller’s bestselling novel, The Dog Stars. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the film follows Elordi as a young pilot named Hig who joins forces with military survivalist Bangley, played by Brolin. The movie also features Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney, Benedict Wong, and Guy Pearce.
Reflecting on their time on set, Elordi described sharing a sentimental conversation about acting with Brolin inside a hangar built for the film overlooking the Dolomite Mountains, calling Brolin a “master” he has long admired. Brolin similarly praised Elordi, calling him “the real deal” and noting that both actors leaned on each other personally and professionally during production. The Dog Stars opens in theaters this Friday.
