Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale revealed in a recent interview that pop star Pink and British folk-indie group Mumford & Sons are at the top of her list for non-rock musical collaborations. Expressing an eagerness to explore genres beyond her band’s usual hard rock sound, Hale shared her vision of bringing Pink “to the dark side” and praised Mumford & Sons’ album Prizefighter. Halestorm is no stranger to cross-genre work, having previously teamed up with artists including Evanescence, Dee Snider, Rascal Flatts, The Hu, and I Prevail.
In addition to discussing potential guest features, Hale addressed the future of Halestorm’s Reanimate cover series, which has previously featured songs by Lady Gaga, Pat Benatar, Fleetwood Mac, and Metallica. Noting that the band keeps a long running list of tracks they would like to record, Hale suggested that Halestorm might release a full covers album in the future rather than another EP.
