The self-produced 13-track acoustic album releases Nov. 6 via Love Tap Records and Virgin Music.
Kings of Leon will release their 10th studio album, O My Beloved, on Nov. 6 through Love Tap Records, distributed by Virgin Music. The 13-track record marks the first time the four-time GRAMMY Award-winning band has self-produced an album. The project represents a shift toward a stripped-down, acoustic sound centered on gratitude and family. The creative turn occurred after frontman Caleb Followill broke his foot while playing tag with his kids, which forced the band to cancel a European tour last spring and led Followill to write new acoustic songs during his recovery.
The group released the lead single, “My Whole World,” on Sept. 10 and played a show at the 575-capacity Basement East in Nashville to celebrate the announcement. Track highlights include “KOYSAR” (Kick Off Your Shoes and Run), “Such a Pretty Thing,” and a lo-fi title track recorded on a smartphone outside their Nashville studio. O My Beloved follows the group’s 2024 album, Can We Please Have Fun.
