The Alter Bridge frontman calls creative problem-solving his greatest joy in music.
Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy, who also performs with Slash, has stated he will refuse to use artificial intelligence as a songwriting tool. In a radio interview, Kennedy explained that relying on AI would deprive him of the fulfillment he gets from writing music himself. Describing songwriting as a “scavenger hunt” and a rewarding problem-solving process, he stated there is nothing he loves more in his career than creating music.
Kennedy’s comments follow similar views expressed earlier this year by his bandmate Mark Tremonti. Alter Bridge is scheduled to launch a headlining U.S. tour featuring Big Wreck and Tim Montana, running from Nov. 5 in Philadelphia to Dec. 5 in Reno, Nevada. Following the tour, Kennedy will shift focus to Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, who plan to release a new album in early 2027.
