The track serves as the third single from the band’s upcoming album ‘Everything Under The Sun.’
Nickelback unveiled the music video for “Leave Me Behind” on Sept. 15. The track is the third single from their upcoming 12-song album, Everything Under The Sun, which is scheduled for release on Oct. 30 via Virgin Music Group. Speaking on the meaning behind the song, Chad Kroeger shared, “There’s a lot of weight in this song, but there’s also a lot of hope,” noting that the track addresses supporting someone through difficult times.
The single follows “Rattle The Cage” and the No. 1 track “Bones For The Crows,” which marked the Canadian band’s first new music since 2022’s Get Rollin’. Everything Under The Sun is the group’s first release with Virgin Music Group, and physical pre-orders on CD and vinyl are available on Nickelback’s official website.
