Shinedown duo Brent Smith and Zach Myers will embark on a North American run starting Dec. 1 in Florida.
Brent Smith and Zach Myers, the vocalist and guitarist for the rock band Shinedown, have announced an 11-city North American acoustic tour set for December. The run begins on Dec. 1 in St. Augustine, Florida, and wraps up on Dec. 18 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The itinerary includes stops at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Dec. 3, the EPIC Event Center in Green Bay on Dec. 4, and the House of Blues in Chicago on Dec. 6, along with dates in Boston, Jersey City, Baltimore, Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas.
Featuring a minimalist setup of a microphone and an instrument or two, the tour marks the duo’s first major run since releasing their GRAMMY Award-winning producer Dave Bassett-produced double album, Volume 1 and Volume 2. The duo originally launched the project in 2014 with two acoustic cover EPs, Acoustic Sessions, Part 1 and Acoustic Sessions, Part 2, and their catalog now includes original songs alongside acoustic covers of tracks by Neil Young, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Peter Gabriel, and R.E.M.
