The surprise fan event took place after the band’s Rogers Stadium show was canceled due to severe weather.
AC/DC guitarist Angus Young and bassist Chris Chaney made a surprise appearance at a fan pop-up event in Toronto on Sept. 16, where they autographed a baby handed to them by an attendee. The pop-up, which featured exclusive merchandise and band memorabilia such as Young’s stage-worn schoolboy uniform, took place after severe weather caused significant damage to Rogers Stadium, forcing Live Nation to cancel the band’s scheduled performance.
The canceled Toronto show was part of AC/DC’s 90-date, two-year Power Up tour. Young previously autographed another baby in Argentina earlier in 2026. The band currently has two remaining shows scheduled on the tour: Sept. 25 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Sept. 29 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
