Vevo released a 27-minute short film featuring Foo Fighters on Friday, Sept. 25, marking the final entry in its Extended Play series. Filmed during a potluck dinner at the band’s 606 studio in Los Angeles, the production captures band members Dave Grohl, Rami Jaffee, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Ilan Rubin, and Pat Smear sharing dishes, swapping stories about their musical backgrounds, and discussing their album, Your Favorite Toy.
The film includes live performances of four tracks from the record: “Child Actor,” “Of All People,” “Caught In The Echo,” and “Unconditional.” The musicians detailed how the album’s sound merges hardcore tempos from their earlier bands with nostalgic melodies. JP Evangelista, EVP of content, programming, and marketing at Vevo, commended the collaboration, highlighting the band’s energy, passion, and musicianship.
