The Queen guitarist joined Taylor onstage at the Roundhouse to perform “We Will Rock You” and “Radio Ga Ga.”
Queen guitarist Brian May made a surprise onstage appearance during Roger Taylor’s sold-out solo concert at the Roundhouse in London on September 28. Joining Taylor for the show’s final two songs, May teamed up with his longtime bandmate to perform two of Queen’s classic hits, “We Will Rock You” and “Radio Ga Ga.”
The performance was part of Taylor’s tour supporting his seventh solo album, Violence Insane in a Beautiful World, which was released on September 18 through Columbia Records. During the roughly two-hour set, Taylor primarily handled lead vocals backed by a group of musicians—including longtime Queen touring keyboardist Philip “Spike” Edney—and played drums on only one song prior to May joining him for the finale.
