All Within My Hands expands its career training initiative across 93 U.S. colleges and into the United Kingdom.
All Within My Hands, the non-profit organization founded by Metallica, has announced a grant of over $3.3 million for the eighth year of the Metallica Scholars Initiative. Operated in partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges, the workforce education program now spans 93 colleges across all 50 U.S. states and Guam, adding 18 new U.S. schools this year to aid nearly 4,000 new students. Later this year, the initiative will expand internationally to the United Kingdom through a partnership with London’s Capital City College Group, reaching more than 1,000 learners.
Launched in 2019 with an initial focus on traditional trades like welding, plumbing, and electrical work, the program has served 13,000 community college students to date. Year eight broadens its scope to cover fields including healthcare, automotive repair, maritime manufacturing, firefighting, EMT, and optical systems technology. Corporate sponsors for this year include returning partners Carhartt, Wolverine, CNH Construction, and Upstaging, Inc., as well as new partner ServiceTitan.
