Guitarist Mark Tremonti credits parents, short videos, and sports crowds for introducing a new generation to Creed’s music.
Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti stated in a recent interview that younger audience members attending the band’s reunion shows first learned songs like “Higher” and “My Sacrifice” in their parents’ cars. Tremonti compared the dynamic to his own experience as a young music fan watching Bon Jovi return to touring after listening to them through his parents.
The band launched its reunion tour in July 2024 following a 12-year hiatus, attracting both long-time listeners and younger fans who discovered Creed through family, sports crowds, memes, and short videos. Creed’s upcoming schedule includes three performance dates booked for December alongside an appearance on the Summer of ’99 cruise next April.
