Frontman Jack Underkofler explained that the band made a tough decision to adjust their tour schedule for an unmissable opportunity.
Dead Poet Society frontman Jack Underkofler revealed during an appearance on Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown that the Los Angeles rock band had to cancel several previously announced shows to make room for a major opportunity. Underkofler acknowledged the difficulty of canceling concerts and disrupting fans’ plans, but explained that the unannounced opportunity could not be rescheduled or passed up.
The news was later confirmed to be a supporting slot on Muse’s UK and European tour, which runs from November 12 through December 8. The tour addition follows the October 2 release of Dead Poet Society’s album, Monarch. The group is also continuing its fall U.S. tour alongside Honey Revenge, Hunny, and Broadside, beginning October 23 in San Diego.
