Josh Homme Announces Benefit Concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles

The Nov. 16 event features an all-star lineup raising funds for CORE and the Sweet Stuff Foundation.

Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age has announced a one-night benefit show, “Joshua Homme and Friends,” set for Nov. 16 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Proceeds from the concert will go to CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and the Sweet Stuff Foundation. Homme will perform alongside Queens of the Stone Age bandmates Troy Van Leeuwen and Michael Shuman, as well as a lineup including Beck, Norah Jones, St. Vincent, “Weird Al” Yankovic, The Kills, Chad Smith, Andrew Watt, magician Justin Willman, and tennis legend John McEnroe. Comedians Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman, Dean Delray, and Dan Soder are also scheduled to perform, with Jack Black presenting a special award.

Tickets for the event go on sale to the general public on Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster following an artist presale. To raise additional funds for the Sweet Stuff Foundation—which assists music industry workers dealing with illness and disability—the benefit will also offer limited-edition screen prints created by artists Boneface and Emek.
