Independent record shops will offer limited physical releases from Prince, Bruce Springsteen, Goo Goo Dolls, and more on Nov. 27.
On Nov. 27, 2026, independent record shops will host Record Store Day Black Friday, featuring approximately 185 exclusive releases available on a first-come, first-served basis. The lineup includes Prince’s 3121 Las Vegas Live, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s Live at Tower Theater Philly 1975 box set, and the Goo Goo Dolls’ cover album Borrowed in its first physical release. Other featured artists on the list include Noah Kahan, Playboi Carti, Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, The Doors, 2Pac, Cher, and heavy music acts such as Power Trip, Mötley Crüe, and Skid Row.
Record Store Day organizers stated that the list was intentionally kept shorter to focus on supporting local, independent businesses during the kickoff of the holiday shopping season. Sticky Black Tarmac owner Brandan Nolan added that the event serves as a antidote to traditional commercial Black Friday shopping.
