Rock N’ Roll Colouring will release the first official coloring book from the Swedish rock band Ghost on Nov. 27. The U.K. independent publisher announced the book on Thursday, Oct. 29.
The book is square and printed on thick paper that holds up well to heavy coloring. Ghost licensed and approved it, according to BraveWords, and the band gave input and help while the publisher built the pages.
Every page shows a detailed outline, ready for pens, pencils, or paint. You’ll find artwork from each era of Ghost, iconic images, and designs fans love. The pages cover the band’s 20 years together and show characters created by Tobias Forge.
Ghost has racked up billions of streams. Its albums have gone platinum and topped the charts, according to Billboard, and its arena tours have sold out.
Two lifelong rock and heavy metal fans, who also love coloring books, started Rock N’ Roll Colouring. They say fans made this book for fans, and they put real care into making sure it matches the band’s vision.
“Every effort has gone into making sure these books do justice [to the] incredible artistic vision of Ghost, and give fans another reason to enjoy some of the most beautiful and creative artwork from this band,” the company said, according to BraveWords.
The publisher points to research that links coloring to mental health gains, such as calm, mindfulness, and sharper focus. Anyone can pick up a book, regardless of age.
The Ghost title joins earlier releases for Iron Maiden, Sleep Token, Alice Cooper, Motörhead, Judas Priest, Cannibal Corpse, Thin Lizzy, and Megadeth.
So, the book goes on sale Nov. 27, and the publisher ships worldwide. Fans can order through Eyesore Merch.
