Alice Cooper’s Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back tour to the BB&T PAvilion in Camden, NJ to celebrate the summer while school was stilll out.  Both bands supporting Alice Cooper were both from just over the river in Pennsylvania, Halestorm and Motionless In White.

MIW kicked thigs off, with Chris Motionless wearing a varisity type jacket in the 90 degree heat and starting their set off with “Rats” from their 2017 album Graveyard Shift.  Their 8 song set spanned their 3 albums but the highlight was the song “Brand New Numb” from 2019’s Disguise and the closing song “Voices’ from 2014’s Reincarnate.

Next up was Halestorm, who is a healiner in their own right.  The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, bassist Josh Smith and Arejay Hale the drummer.  Everytime we see Halestorm we are more and more impress with Lzzy Hale.  She is a true rockstar.  Her vocals, along with her shredding on guitar, are some of the best in the business.  Lzzy commanded the stage like no other while her and the band pumped out the hits like “Do Not Disturb,” “Love Bites (So Do I),” “Freak Like Me,” and “I Get Off.”

Finally the main event, Ol’ Black Eyes himself took to the stage after a giant black curtain which cover the stage with those very eyes dropped from the rafters. Cooper with his iconic black top hat and cane entered the stage along with the band, which included Nita Strauss on guitar,  Chuck Garric on bass, Tommy Henriksen on guitar, Ryan Roxie on guitar, and Glen Sobel on drums, got things started with “Feed My Frankenstein” from 1991’s Hey Stoopid and then right into the hit “No More Mr. Nice Guy” from the album Billion Dollar Babies which was realease all the way back in 1973!  The fans, youn and old, were enteratined with a 19 song set that ended with “Schools’s Out” where the members of Motionless In White and Halestorm joined Alice Cooper on stage to celebrate a great night of music and the final night of the tour.
