10 Years Feels Like Home In Lancaster, PA

10 Years made their almost yearly stop at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA on September 5, 2019.  The near capacity crowd was treated to a night with 3 extrodinary bands.

First up was Ingite The Fire from Taneytown, Maryland, the band formed in 2011 and consists of vocalist Jack Gurecki, guitarist Michael Nelson, bassist Holly Smith, guitarist Mark Quinn and drummer Caelan Gregory.  ITF is supporting their latest release Between Shadow and Solace (2018) and featured the songs “Victim of Shame,” “Anchor,” “Echoes,” and “Lazarus” in their set.  ITF have defined themselves through their musical talent and live performances and that was on display at the Chameleon Club.  Besides the fantastic musicianship there was plenty of head banging, jumps and theatrics that made the crowd unable to take their eyes off the band.

Next up was a Chester County, PA, Dawn’s Divide. The band formed in early 2018 and consists of Kurt McClellan- Vocals, Les Lepore – Guitar, Matt Chambers – Bass and Chuck Nickerson – Drums.  With their original style of music, labeled as “stoner rock” on their FB page, these four gents commanded the stage, the crowd’s attention and were an excellent warm up for 10 Years.  Lead Singer Kurt McClellan would squat and rock as he got lost in their music and performance.  It was a delight to see a band so into their art and performing it for the crowd.  We definitley recommend getting to the venue early to see these guys of they come through your town.

The band every came to see and always packes the Chameleon club was up next. 10 Years, who have now been around for nearly 20 years in some form, took to the stage and greeted everyone at the Chameleon Club like old friends.  They kicked off their set with “Halos” from their lastest album “(how to live) AS GHOSTS” and right into “Fix Me” and “Now Is The Time (Ravenous).  One of the highlights of the show was a stirring cover of Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box.”  At one point vocalist Jessie Hasek crowdsurfed halfway to the back of the room and back to the stage, all without missing note of the song he was singing.  10 Years finished off their 15 song set with “Novacaine” and “Shoot It Out.”  10 Years always eave the fans wanting more in Lancaster and we can’t wait until they make their return to the Chameleon Club.
